October 8, 2008 - Camp Pendleton Wildfire

This wildfire started around 3:30pm and burned well into the night. By the end, 1800 acres were burned. No homes or structures were ever threatened, as the fire stayed on Marine Base Camp Pendleton. No Santa Ana Winds were blowing at the time. It did scare plenty of Oceanside residents, though, as many (including myself) could see flames just two miles from their house. I shot this video from a second floor balcony of César Chávez Middle School around 8:30pm. I wanted to upload more, but this is the very best of the footage I had.
