There re way too many! We got up at 6:45 and left the campground at 7:20, arriving at the bus pick-up point at 7:30. The bus brought us out to the piers at Punta Banderas. It let us off at the wrong one so it was a bit of a walk to get to our catamaran, the Nuevo León. The boat was much larger than the one we took to Estancia Cristina a few weeks earlier. More than 100 people took the tour but it really didn't seem crowded in the cabins although it was a little tight on deck at times. The boat moved really fast. We soon overtook the Estancia Cristina launch and were surprised to see the Stones waving to us from the fantail. We later learned that their itinerary had been flip-flopped. We sped onward under a beautiful sunny sky past the fold-thrust structures and through the icebergs for more than an hour before pulling in to Bahía Onelli. Disembarking at the dock, we walked 800 m through the woods, along the river to Lago Onelli, a proglacial lake dammed by a recessional moraine, into which the Aggasiz and Onelli glaciers enter and calve off icebergs that are stranded until they melt.
