Cracks at Noida Metro line, analysis ordered

Cracks have been noticed on two piers with cantilevers on the newly constructed Yamuna Bank- Noida Metro line during an inspection of all Metro structures, a move taken up after the July 12 mishap which claimed six lives.

Sheila Dixit: Cracks are superficial

Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit has appealed for calm on the issue of cracks appearing on Metro piers. Chief Minister says that small cracks doesn't mean the entire structure is faulty. She said she will look into the matter and find out more details.
