Starcraft 2 Terran Marine-Maruader-Medivac (MMM) Ball Rush Build Order

This is probably one of the best rushes in the game and can dramatically hurt your opponent, especially if there is some type of armor upgrade or stim pack researched as well. You can combine these tactics and do this crucial MMM Ball rush build order today for your terrans!

Build Order

You want to constantly build SCV's throughout this build.

• Build a supply depot - When you hit supply of 9 or 10
• Build Barracks - As soon as the depot finishes, and as soon as you have enough minerals
• Build refinery as soon as your Barracks are done, Send 3 SCV's to the refinery
• *Optional* - Upgrade to an orbital command, which will cost you 150, but will allow for more informed play such as scanner sweep, and a much stronger economy (using mules)
• After Barracks is complete you want to train your marines in case your marines is sending an attack at you
• Build another supply depot, avoid being supply capped, another barracks, and factory when you have 100 gas
• If you have a lot of minerals, then build another refinery
• Build tech lab on your barracks, you want to have one barracks pumping out marines while the other one pumps out marauders
• Build a starport, which will allow you to pump out medivacs

You want to end up with enough troops to fill up 3 medivacs, two if you are in a rush. And it's definitely recommended that you have stimpack and concussive shells so you can kite quite effectively.

The medivacs should give you the transportation and the healing necessary to take out your opponent effectively. You want to make sure that you attack your opponents mineral line and destroy their economy. And also go attack the economy's of their expansions as well.

This will put you well ahead of your opponent and you'll be able to succeed in winning tons of games.

Units it is effective Against

These are the units that it is effective against:

Zerg - Roach/Hydra mix, roaches are armored units and take a big time deal of armor from your Marauders.

Protoss - These are strong against Zealots, Stalkers, and Sentry, you want to focus your marauders on stalkers because they're armored units that take tons of damage from Maruaders as well.

MMM Ball Weaknesses
Some of the weaknesses of the MMM Ball is that it can not go up against certain units of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg, these can be seen as counter mixes.

Zerg Counter Units
• Mass Zergling Hydralisk Mix
• Baneling or Baneling Busts especially on the creep where they are more powerful and much more faster

Protoss Counter Units
• Protoss With Leg Speed and Stalkers mixed in
• Zealot, Stalker, Sentry mixed up and backed up by a colossi or two with thermal lance upgrade

Terran Counter Units
Mech - Siege tanks in siege mode can kill your mmm ball, you want to make sure that you try to go after the economy, use his slow speed to his disadvantage, and try to go after his structures if the economy is hard to get to.
